– Luna does not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, an ingredient that makes toothpaste foamy when you brush, but can also irritate sensitive teeth and gums. – Luna contains Hydroxyapatite which is a naturally occurring form of the mineral Calcium Apatite, also known as Calcium Phosphate. It is a biocompatible material naturally occurring in our bones, teeth and saliva. It is the ideal ingredient for combating dentin hypersensitivity. It also contains natural Calcium Carbonate which in combination with the Calcium Hydroxyapatite offer the perfect solution to dentin hypersensitivity by sealing the pathways to sensitive tooth nerves to help block the pain.
